Click-through rate far below the norm for the ranking
What this means
The page averages a position inside the top ten and takes less than half the clicks a listing at that rank typically earns, measured over at least 100 impressions. The comparison uses a positional click curve drawn from published industry-wide studies, and those figures are broad averages rather than guarantees: a branded navigational query can sit far above the curve, and a query answered by a featured snippet or an AI overview far below it. The check is therefore used only to spot a page performing well under the broad norm, never to promise what a rank is worth. It is suppressed on pages that are noindexed or not returning 200.
How to fix it
Rewrite the title link and meta description around the queries the page actually ranks for, taking the wording from the Performance report filtered to this page. Put the differentiator in the first 50 characters of the title, and make the description a concrete promise rather than a restatement of it. Structured data that earns a rich result is the other lever available at an already-won rank.
Fix effort
This check needs review: the change can be drafted for you, but a person has to approve the wording or choose the target before it ships.
