By accessing or using CrawlX (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CrawlX. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

CrawlX is an AI-powered SEO crawler and website auditing platform. The Service provides automated website crawling, technical SEO analysis, Core Web Vitals monitoring, AI-generated fix suggestions, and reporting tools. Features and capabilities may change over time as we continue to develop the platform.

3. User Accounts & Registration

To access the Service you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You may not share your account credentials with third parties.
• Notify us immediately at enterprise@crawlx.dev if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use CrawlX only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to crawl websites you do not own or have explicit permission to crawl.
• Use the Service to conduct denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or overwhelm target servers.
• Disregard or circumvent a website’s robots.txt directives.
• Use the Service for malicious crawling, data harvesting, or scraping of personal data.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the Service’s source code or AI models.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without notice.

5. AI Features Disclaimer

CrawlX uses AI models to generate SEO recommendations, fix suggestions, and content analysis. These AI-generated outputs are advisory only and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation. You should independently verify any AI suggestions before implementing them. CrawlX makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or effectiveness of AI-generated recommendations.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the crawl data and content you submit through the Service.

7. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed on a subscription basis (monthly or annual). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase for annual plans. Monthly subscriptions are not eligible for refunds for the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.
• Free plan usage is subject to fair-use limits as specified on our pricing page.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrawlX and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we may also send an email notification to registered users. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
